Sew Mama Sew Giveaway

December 12, 2011

Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day

It’s here! The Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day starts today and runs all week. Here’s what I’m giving away in the sewing supplies category:

You can win a set of 4 modern quilt patterns from Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts. I made two of them earlier this year … Hugs and Kisses and Off The Rail. Julie’s detailed instructions and illustrations make it easy. All the patterns come with multiple size options from baby to King.

This giveaway is open internationally. For a chance to win, just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear about your favorite tool in the sewing room. Or maybe what tool you’d most like to add to your kit.  The giveaway will close on December 16th, and the winner will be announced here on the 18th. And don’t forget to check out the other participating blogs for more chances to win great stuff. Good luck!

This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for taking the time to comment. The random number generator has picked a winner … #35. I hope Audrey enjoys the patterns.

My favorite tool is my corner turner. I know you can use a chopstick or something, but this thing really gets my corners point-perfect!

The runner up has got to be my magnetic pin “cushion”– just fling the pins in the general direction and “snap” they zip right onto that thing. Also great for when I drop a pin– just hover that thing over the floor and “snap” the pin is found and off the floor!

but i use it ALL THE TIME. it’s perfect for labeling quilt rows, pattern pieces, etc, you never have to worry about the pin falling out, or poking you while you’re sewing. it’s great for stretching out quilt backings, for hanging up quick temporary design walls, as a straight line to follow while quilting, for labeling your other tools at quilt retreats… it’s uses never end!
