Two new kits

May 13, 2011

Still getting ready for Quilt Ontario in London (less than 2 weeks to go). I’ve got two new kits in the shop, both twin size, both solids, both Cherry House Quilts patterns.

I was working on this in the fall, and finished it over the winter. It’s a twin sized version of Cherry Fizz, without the borders. I made 48 of the log cabin style blocks, alternating pink & orange shades of Robert Kaufman solids, with a hint of Kona Coffee thrown in for emphasis. You can find the kit here.

This is another pattern from Cherry House Quilts that adapted easily to a twin size (check out Anna’s quilt). I think it will look fantastic in the beach glass hues on a white background. The kit includes enough Kona solids to make 48 blocks for a 63″ x 84″ quilt.

FYI, my last date to ship orders before heading to London will be May 20. The shop will stay open while I’m away, but I will not be able to send anything out until June 1st.
