Summer Soiree

July 9, 2010

If this week’s heat wave has left you feeling a bit wilted, maybe a little Summer Soiree at 50% off will perk you up! These bold black and white prints with a shock of yellow and touches of grey and red make a dramatic statement for summer quilts and home dec projects. Look at Kona black, coal, canary and pomegranate to coordinate.

Summer Soiree Big Blocks

I’ve still got a few sets of pre-cut 10″ squares that you could use for an easy big block quilt like the one above. Or you could use them to make napkins (sew 4 squares together for a large 19″ napkin, and back with another 4 squares, or coordinating yardage). These prints also sew up into great looking purses and totes. Check out the Flickr pool for more ideas and inspiration.
