Moving into fall
September 24, 2012
Sometime in the last few days we moved officially into fall. Colors traditionally associated with fall, and the harvest, are rust, orange, brown, gold … you get the picture. But this palette from Violet Craft evokes a different kind of harvest.
Maybe something like this scene Vincent Van Gogh painted in Provence.
It made a beautiful quilt.
Tranquil and serene.

Ooh, that is an unusual but cool harvest palette!
I love love this fabric and am actually planning to order from you! Yay! Just wondering how much fabric you needed for the front of the quilt? Is this a fat quarter bundle? I love your layout and would like to do something similar if you don’t mind.
I love your quilt! Very beautiful!
