Cassie Batiks
Table runners make a great gift for just about anyone. I made this little rail fence version in 3 different colorways of batiks from Robert Kaufman, and they are all available as kits in the shop. For under $20 you get a pattern and enough fabric to finish a tablerunner – top, back and binding. Mine are not quite finished yet, but I was in a hurry to get them ready for Fibrefest 2012 taking place in Almonte this weekend. It’s a two day festival of fibre arts featuring fibre art vendors, a fibre art exhibit and demonstrations. I’ll be set up in the textile museum, so be sure to stop by and say hello.
